Graduate Teaching Assistant at King’s College London (2021-)
- Numerical and Computational Methods with Python – final-year BSc module on basic numerical topics such as solution of non-linear equations, approximation of functions by polynomials, numerical differentiation and integration, numerical solution of ODEs. Algorithm analysis via rates of convergence and error estimation.
- Econophysics – MSc module, tutorials effectively a journal club with papers to read every week assigned by Prof. Tiziana do Matteo
- Statistics for Finance – MSc module, common families of distributions in financial models, linear regression, time series models, parameter estimation (including least squares and maximum likelihood), simulation.
- Calculus I&II, Probability and Statistics I – first-year BSc modules
Outreach
- Event organiser and co-founder of the KCL committee of Piscopia Initiative, whose expressed goal is to create a community of women and non-binary researchers in Mathematics. Events aim to inform bachelor and master students about PhDs, give practical tips on the application process and encourage interaction between the PhDs and younger students in an informal setting, 2023-ongoing
- Invited talk at Imperial College London on ‘completing a successful MSc research project’ to the 2022-2023 MSc cohort, July 2023
- Roundtable panellist at ICMS-LMS Undergraduate Series, a discussion on the future directions in mathematics and what opportunities are available to prospective PhD students, March 2023
- Representative of KCL at PhD Your Way, an event for younger students to learn more about doing a Maths PhD at various UK universities, November 2022
