Hi! I am a postdoc at the Centre d’Économie de la Sorbonne, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, working with Prof. Fabián Aguirre-López. I am interested in the modelling of human (and non-human) interactions on online social media platforms.

Research interests:

• Modelling of socio-economic phenomena, in particular online social media platforms
• Regulation of large online social media platforms
• Statistical physics for learning and inference
• High-dimensional asymptotics in machine learning
• Robust statistics
• Message-passing algorithms for statistical inference in high dimensions

I defended my PhD thesis in Applied Mathematics (with no corrections) supervised by Gabriele Sicuro and Pierpaolo Vivo at the Disordered Systems Group at King’s College London. I was also lucky enough to collaborate with researchers at École Normale Supérieure, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the Flatiron Institute and TU Munich throughout.

Previously, I obtained my MSc in Applied Mathematics at Imperial College London which culminated in a research project on a bounded-confidence agent-based model of opinion formation at the Bertrand Lab, headed by Prof. Thibault Bertrand, and in collaboration with Prof. Grigorios Pavliotis. I also hold a BA (Hons) Mathematics and Philosophy from King’s College London, with a focus on applied mathematics, ethics of technology, philosophy of language and politics, and logic.
